About Zoë

Zoë Newmarco (she/they) is a full-spectrum doula, babywearing consultant, and the owner of Trillium Birth, LLC.
Over her lifetime, Zoë has cultivated a passion for reproductive justice, birth, newborns, and working with parents. She brings her gentle enthusiasm to her work as a doula.

At the center of Zoë’s practice is a core belief in everyone’s right to autonomy. Zoë’s goal as a doula is to empower their clients, and support clients in accessing the care they need and desire. This includes helping clients access evidence-based information, supporting them in taking time to make big decisions, and advocating alongside clients once a decision is made.

Zoë delights in working with individuals and families in all configurations, with special focuses on queer and trans parents, teenage parents, single parents, and families who already have one or more children.

Zoë trained as a birth doula in the summer of 2020 with DONA International, and then as a full-spectrum doula with Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings in March 2022, and is working towards full-spectrum certification.
Other trainings and qualifications Zoë has include:
-Childbirth educator (Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings, 2022)
-CPR & first aid, adult & pediatric (American Red Cross, 2023)
-Enhancing Trauma Awareness and Deepening Trauma Awareness (Lakeside Global Institute, 2022 & 2023)
-Babywearing Consultant (trained through the Center for Babywearing Studies in 2022)

Please feel free to get in touch with Zoë, she’s happy to answer questions.

About Full-Spectrum Doulas

Full-spectrum doulas provide professional, non-clinical emotional and physical support during the full-spectrum of pregnancy experiences.
Zoë works with individuals and families who are looking with support with:
-labor and birth
-postpartum care
-miscarriage/stillbirth
-fertility and conception
-abortion
-babywearing (using a baby carrier to “wear” your baby)

Doula work is relational work. In our time working together, Zoë aims to get to know you (and anyone else who is part of your support team), and learn about your goals and needs on your reproductive journey. Learn more about full-spectrum doulas here.

Interested in support that you don’t see listed above? Please feel free to reach out and see if Zoë is able to offer it. While they specialize in pregnancy-related support, occasionally they have offered doula support for people pursuing other types of care in the medical system.
